Cinemas around Kingston upon Thames

Odeon IMAX Cinema

The Rotunda Centre, Clarence St, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1QP, UK – 0333 014 4501

Good cinema experience. The place seems very clean and well maintained in comparison to most places, guy checking our ticket has a nice manner, ticket machine good, seats nice and overall pleasant ambience. At times the music in the film where insanely loud (though this could just be how the film was mixed). Only real annoyance of the evening was going though several toilets to find one that both locked and had toilet paper.

At 3:00pm I went with a friend to watch the movie IT in screen 15 the movie was great. After the movie had finished I was getting ready to leave and I couldn't find my phone it fell down the back of the chair that I was seated. I couldn't see it but I know that it fell down there half way through the film. I would like to thank the staff that helped me retrieve my phone. The staff member on his first shift found my phone when he jumped over the chairs to retrieve it I am very thankful for what you did.

The Rotunda Centre

Clarence Street, London KT1 1QJ, UK – 0844 880 2827

I went bowling at the rotunda centre last Tuesday and I found it a great place to be. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and bowling is always a fun thing to do. There were fifteen of us bowling in three lanes. (five per lane). We were able to order food whilst at the lanes which came promptly. My only complaint is that the menu is a tad drab - burgers or dogs etc.

Lots of restaurants to choose from all of a high caliber, the odeon cinema is of very high quality and the staff are lovely. The furnishings are classy and the screen choice is perfect. The bowling downstairs is expensive as all bowling usually is, but if you catch it on a deal it is well worth it. The only lackluster aspect is the arcade, it is alright, but not anything special.

Unilet Sound & Vision

35 High St, New Malden KT3 4BY, UK – 020 8942 9567

Amazing. In a world of internet shopping and electronics superstores, Unilet stands above by offering great prices and genuinely knowledgeable staff. The selection is broad (almost eclectic), but invariably high quality. If you are (or want to be) a genuine audiophile, get over to Unilet.

I have recently purchased the Focal Utopia headphones and Chord Hugo 2 amp/DAC from Unilet. I mostly dealt with Phil, though also spoke to and met other members of the team during the sales (and after sales) process. The whole buying experience was seamless and a real pleasure. I was allowed as much time as I wanted/needed to listen to the equipment (and alternatives) and there was no pressure whatsoever to buy. When I decided that i was going to buy, we went through it all in a relaxed and technically informative way - I am no expert ! At the end of this, I ended up with the right products and feel I have all the back up help and service i need should i hit any further techincal difficulties. The sound from the Utopia/Hugo2 is amazing - yes it's expensive, but it is justified. The service was 10/10 - so a huge thanks to Phil :)

Rose Theatre

24-26 High St, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1HL, UK – 020 8174 0090

Brilliant production of Around the World in 80 Days today at The Rose with two grandchildren. Everyone in audience captivated by energetic, professional, great communication troupe, and they were funny, and athletic! Highly recommended, like wise the little pots of sweeties sorbet and being able to take any drinks into auditorium. Really good relaxed afternoon .

Not overly large which means most seats have a decent view. Bar is busy at the interval but staff are fast and efficient.

Michael Frayn Theatre

70 London Rd, Kingston upon Thames KT2 6PY, UK

A fantastic National Theatre Live venue! I saw Saint Joan in February and it was incredible! The quality of the broadcast (sound and picture) and the modern yet cosy venue is ideal for Theatre lovers in Kingston - I will definitely be booking again! Great cafe too for pre-theatre drinks.
