Went to watch justice league but didn't want to watch it in 3D. So we paid for the 2D screening which turned out to be screen 15. Had nice reclining seats and the option to buy food and drinks from the bar. Pretty good experience.
At the moment its being refurbished, looking good. Good place to escape from life and see a good movie. Update: refurbished but I find the lighting during a movie a problem, I made a complaint last time about the lighting in screen 15 (recliner chairs) if you sit on the end of a row you have bright glarey lights shining in your eyes during a movie for "safety". Today nothing has changed still bright lights, my recommendation is sit in the middle. One thing though before each movie they tell you to put your phones away to stop glare but leave lights on!

Saw Alice in Winterland with the whole family. Great production in a great theatre. Lovey cafe, modern theatre with a great layout and no bad seats. Conveniently located, 10 minutes walk from the station and close to restaurants.
Brilliant production of Around the World in 80 Days today at The Rose with two grandchildren. Everyone in audience captivated by energetic, professional, great communication troupe, and they were funny, and athletic! Highly recommended, like wise the little pots of sweeties sorbet and being able to take any drinks into auditorium. Really good relaxed afternoon .

A fantastic National Theatre Live venue! I saw Saint Joan in February and it was incredible! The quality of the broadcast (sound and picture) and the modern yet cosy venue is ideal for Theatre lovers in Kingston - I will definitely be booking again! Great cafe too for pre-theatre drinks.
