Friendly, warm and welcoming people, great kids activities. contemporary songs and relevant message, good social environment with strong family and lively student community. I loved the presence of God there, felt refreshed and had fun. I'm a single parent with 4 year old, when I went to collect zion from kiddy church' kids were all making pictures with huge array of stickers sparkles glitter glues alphabet letters felt tips and stars, hard to get her to leave as she was having so much fun. managed to drag her away so I could have a coffee and bit of cake, chatted with few people there who were happy to answer my questions. as i was rolling cigarette outside, was invited to come along to nandos for lunch by couple I'd been chatting with. All round great experience, not at all 'churchy' like I'd expected. everyone thought my 'boisterous and loud kid' was awesome!! special thank you to a bunch of amazing people.
Carlsburg don't make churches, but if they did...it would be kings church!

Wow what a fantastic church?! There's a video explaining that Kingston is where the first King of England was crowned, which I suppose I should have worked out from the name of the place. But it just shows how important a place can be. The outside is very pretty and in good repair, with trees covered by spring flowers. The inside is an absolute delight, beautifully restored, well lit, open and airy, laid out for worship and wonder, and with an active café right next to the commerce of Kingston shopping
Nice little cafe inside. Worth researching this place for facilities and events available.

I went along a few years ago and became a regular member of this parish. Wonderful music, a lively parish with lots going on for old and young, and thought provoking inspiring homilies from Father Reg and Father John before him. A lovely community of faith is this.
welcoming and prayful environment
